Order or Contribute to our forthcoming book "The People's New Labour"
We are approaching what will probably be the most interesting general election for many years. 13 years after Tony Blair's New Labour landslide, how does the country look and feel? How has it been for you? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
This book aims to take a snapshot of the mood of the nation by compiling essays and chapters written by ordinary people - the voters who have lived with the ground-breaking and controversial government of the last 13 years. Whatever your take on the New Labour years, whatever your view or political allegiance, this is an opportunity for your thoughts to be recorded in history.
As with all published books, copies of this will be deposited with the British Library, hopefully capturing the mood of the nation on this historic occasion.
So whether you want to have a good moan, make a serious point about policies that have affected you, your work or family, or compliment the work of New Labour, get in touch. We're looking for serious articles, satire, humour, thoughts, essays... maybe the odd cartoon.. tell us what living under Labour has been like for you, in your own style.
We will not be paying for contributions however all writers featured in the book will receive full credit, a free copy of the book, and of course, will be contributing to the 'history of the future'. We also need a title and a cover... over to you!
If you don't want to write an article for the book you can still support it by pre-ordering - your name will be listed at the back to show our gratitude.
